È arrivato il momento di farvi ascoltare il primo estratto da “White Bright Light”, il nuovo album dei Drink To Me, in uscita il 14 ottobre 2014 in formato fisico e digitale per 42 Records.
“White Bright Light” è stato prodotto dai Drink To Me con Alessio Natalizia (Walls, Not Waving, Banjo or Freakout…) ed è stato registrato tra Pivrone (Ivrea) e Bologna. Di registrazioni, mix e mastering si è occupato Andrea Suriani che già aveva collaborato con il gruppo per “Brazil” e “S”•
Bright, il primo estratto dal disco, può essere considerato una sorta di manifesto.

Marco Japoco Bianchi, voce del gruppo, anche noto per il suo progetto solista a nome Cosmo, la racconta così:
“Bright, ovvero l’inizio del viaggio chiamato “Bright White Light”. Il primo capitolo di una storia che attraverserà tutto il resto del disco.
Il protagonista è in pena crisi mistica, rapito da qualcosa che non riesce a descrivere, si ferma sotto la pioggia, prova a sentirne la consistenza e l’odore sull’asfalto caldo. Presto dimenticherà tutto.
Musicalmente è il risultato della fusione di tre o quattro delle improvvisazioni realizzate nell’arco degli scorsi due anni. Contiene campioni di svariata provenienza, tra cui roba Motown e la voce di Clod degli Iori’s Eyes. Ci sono synth modulari nella strofa, un beat ridotto all’osso e altre trovate firmate Alessio Natalizia. Gli ultimi synth che si sentono sono ideati e scritti da Andrea Suriani. In poche parole: si tratta del pezzo più complesso e rimaneggiato del disco, il frutto di un vero e proprio lavoro collettivo”.
